Born 1948 in South Africa, Cheryl Grunwald began her career as a ballet dancer. She appeared as part of an ensemble cast in the play "Canterbury Tales" at Great Britain's West End Phoenix Theatre beginning in 1970 before landing acting roles in "A Clockwork Orange", "The Devils", and "The Boy Friend" the following year.
