Geoffrey Hughes DL was an English actor. Hughes provided the voice of Paul McCartney in the animated film Yellow Submarine, and rose to fame for portraying much-loved binman Eddie Yeats in the long-running British soap opera Coronation Street from 1974 to 1983, making a return to the show in 1987.
The Man Who Had Power Over Women
Successful record company executive Peter Reaney's (Rod Taylor) triumphs don't extend to his marriage. When his wife walks out on him, instead of attempting to resolve the situation he moves in with his good friend Val Pringle (James Booth), who's married to pretty Jody (Carol White). Inconveniently, he then begins an affair with Jody. Worse yet, the increasingly outlandish behavior of his clientele is becoming stressful as Peter struggles to take control of his life.
